Where this comes from
WinningMind AI is not a chatbot with a sports skin. It is the product of twenty-five years of applied performance psychology. Winning Mind LLC has coached Olympic and professional athletes, advised companies including McKinsey & Company and J.P. Morgan, and trained military special operations personnel. The firm also administers the TAIS assessment, the attentional-style inventory developed by Dr. Robert Nideffer and used for decades in elite sport and military selection.
The coaching methods inside this product are the same ones the firm uses with its consulting clients: concentration under pressure, pre-performance routines, and recovering focus after mistakes. The AI makes them available at 11pm before a tournament, not just in a scheduled session.

Marc Sagal
Sport & Performance Psychology Consultant, Executive Coach · Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Marc co-wrote Assessment in Sport Psychology with Dr. Robert Nideffer and served as COO of Enhanced Performance Systems before co-founding Winning Mind in 2001. He has consulted for clubs including Liverpool FC, companies including McKinsey & Company and J.P. Morgan, and Olympic and professional athletes worldwide. He holds an MA in Sport Psychology from San Diego State University and played soccer professionally in the United States and Europe.
Dr. Mark Lowry
Licensed Clinical Psychologist · Co-Founder
Mark spent more than eight years as a U.S. Army psychologist, including assignments with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta. He helped develop the Adaptive Leadership and Thinking training for U.S. Army Special Forces officers, and has advised the New York Rangers, the Edmonton Oilers, and Fortune 1000 companies. He holds a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
